Born: November 15 1887 in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin she passed away on March 6, 1986.
Gerogia was a female artist ans icon of the twentieth century. She was an early avant-gard artist of American Modernism. Her life spanned 98 years and her portfolio included many works of American landscapes. She ewceived early art instructin at the Art Institute of chicago. In 1902 she moved to New York City and sudied under William Merritt Chase as a member of the Art Students League. Her early career led her to further stidies at Columbia University teachers college and educational posts at the Unverisity of Vergnia ans Columbi College.
The Beautiful Blue and Green Music by Georgina
This Painting demonstrates her life long skill with color regardless of the subject matter. Blue ans green music had became prominent with support from Alfred Stieglitz. This abstract piece is beautiful and my favorite. The colors and the detailed work is wonderful, this painting is one of those that relax you when u stare at them.
Michelangelo
Michelangelo was born in Italy on March 6 1475. He passed on February 18 1564 at the age of 88 in Rome Italy. He was na Italian Renaissance painter, splutter, Architect, poet and engineer. He spent most of his life working in Itally for Popes in Rome and also doing indivuadal projecrs in Florance. Michelangelo output in every field during his long life was prodigious when the sheer volume of correspondence sketches and reminiscences that survive is also taken into account he was the best documented artist od the 16Th. century.
This sculpture "Pieta" is one of my favorites that he made. The reason is because my mom has had this sculpture at my house since i was a child and every night she would make me kneel with her by the bed side and we would pray. My mother is very religious and when she got this piece of art she took it to ger blessed by a priest.
