Lecture: Literacy

Tuesdays lecture was about Literacy.
During class we discussed how our parents and our grandparents didn't have the technology we have today. For instance, they didn't have the internet to research for thing, or complete homework or even send important email for business prepuces, or even have Facebook like we do now to keep in touch with extended family or even old classmates for elementary school. If they could suddenly life in our time i think they would feel out of place or even wouldn't be able to believe how the internet work and how its a big part of everyones every day life.

We also discussed having cell phones and texting. It hasn't been that long since cellphones were invented or even having internet in a cell phone. Our parents didn't have any of this technology when they were our age. Now it is so easy to get a hold of some one. Furthermore, having this type of technology cant also help make time go buy faster by either txting friends or playing a few games or even surfing the web whenever you're bored.

All these things can relate to being educational literate. The web is so important to every student , for every business owner for every person that uses the computer.  It is easy and fast to look up anything on the internet from directions to recipes to researching somehing for s class, completing homework, looking up news or even playing games.Texting and cellphones also help with educations in good ways, sometimes it can be distracting while studying or doing homework but for the most part cellphones are used at all times.
