Lecture:The Drawing

The image above is what i drew last week during class. Professor Glenn used the projector to project this image for the class. He then broke down the image into 5 sections and so did we on our paper. He displayed the first piece of the picture and we had to draw it on our paper. At frist when i began to draw i  found it easy to just copy the couple of lines on to my paper. Next, when Glenn revealed the second piece of the image it was a bit more challenging, i found the i started drwaing the image too big and it wasn't looking like what its suppose to. Once i got to the third image it was a bit harder because i began to see the image and i found it was a man and i was starting to draw some hands, which these hands did not look like hands the fingers looked like warms. When i was done drawing i went back and adjusted some line to make my drawing look more realistic rather than a kids drawing. When i picked up my paper to look at the image from far, i stared laughing at my drawing! it just looked really funny but yet unique in its own way.

I enjoyed this experience, it made me realize that drawing isn't easy, it is a talet. I am not the greatest artist but i do find drawing fun and also relaxing at the same time especially when its done in a quiet room with soft music in the background.  :)
